It's Currently March!

It's that time again! March here in Australia brings Autumn, and cooler weather.  I'm excited to bust out my collection of scarves, cosy knits and boots but I think we're a few weeks away from that yet. :)

After a surprise professional development day at school I was not in the head space to stay last this afternoon in my classroom, so I was home in time to watch 'The Bold and The Beautiful'! I've been watching this show since I was about 12 so I love to catch random episodes when I can.

My class this year is absolutely gorgeous. They are kind, caring and considerate, they love to learn and they behave beautifully.  I just love spending time with all of my kidlets. :)

Yesterday I finished reading 'The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society' - an old favourite - and think I might start another book tonight.  Any recommendations for me??

I stayed up late last night watching 'Argo' on TV so I think tonight will be an earlier one.  If I find a book to read I'll soak in a hot bath and read a few chapters before bed.

As I left school this afternoon I realised that my office is seriously a disaster.  I use it as my "I'll just put this here until I have time to put it away properly" space, and as you can imagine I never come back to it... I really need to tidy it up and put things away because I know there's some things in there I probably should be using!

No Spring break for us! But we will have 2 weeks at Easter time.  Autumn is wonderful beach weather (not so hot that it's uncomfortable!) so I'll most likely spend a few days in the sun.  I've also got 4 free movie passes so I might take my little cousins to see Cinderella!

Link up with Farley to share your Currently - lots of people share on Instagram so if you don't have a blog there's no reason to miss out. :)

  1. I've been reading The Giver Quartet by Lois Lowry. The movie The Giver was good, but the books, and the subsequent three books set in the same world (though not immediately following one another) are great!

    Can't wait until Easter break!

  2. So nice to meet you - especially as my daughter is in Australia at the moment (gap year before Uni) and she has been finding it very strange being so hot and also longing for colder weather :-) I loved the Potato Peel Society book and would recommend The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake as a good bath book! You made me smile about your office desk as I know exactly what you mean!! Here in the U.K. we too are looking forward to Easter so if you want to know what I'll be doing head over to my Currently post :-) Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
