What's on Your Wishlist? B2S with TpT!

Guys, I seriously have the world's tiniest TpT store!  When I saw Head Over Heel's for Teaching's linky today I wasn't sure if I should join in - and then I thought, why not?  Although I only have a few products I'm very proud of all of them. :)

To join in, link up with the 2 top wishlisted items in your store, and 1 item on your own wishlist. :)

The most wishlisted items in my store are Dolch word card games.  I love to have a supply of sight word games in my classroom - and card games are so handy because they don't require any setting up so they can be played by kidlets independently, given to parents to take home for little ones who need extra practice, and grabbed quickly to play when there's a few spare minutes during the day.

Both of these are the Pre-Primer versions, but I also have these games using words from other year levels, too. :)

OK, onto MY wishlist!  I have so many products on my list that I have fallen in love with while blog stalking, but unfortunately I just can't afford to snap them all up when I see them.  My next purchase is going to be Mrs. Ricca's Down by the Sea! Math and Literacy Centers.
Blogger won't make this picture bigger, boo!

This pack is an absolutely gorgeous collection of creative and hands on maths and literacy activities based on a super cute beach theme.  I plan to have this printed and ready to go after my next set of holidays. I can't wait - my kidlets will L-O-V-E these!  Especially digging in a bucket to practice their phonics and fishing for sight words. :)

Don't forget to grab some of your wishlisted items on Sunday and Monday when TpT celebrates B2S with a sale!  The promo code is BTS13.

Happy Friday y'all!  I'm languishing on the couch today with a terrible cold, so it's back to morning TV and Pinterest for me.

Sweet Treats - Primer Words!

Isn't is amazing how much you can get done when it's report card writing weekend?  My house is spotless, all the laundry is clean, folded and put away and there's not a dirty dish to be seen in the kitchen.  I also modified my 'Sweet Treats' game and now have a file using Dolch Primer words.

Check out my previous post for a pic of these games in action. :)

Back to reports...

Sweet Treats!

Morning everyone!  I gave in to the terrible cough that I've been struggling with since early last week and am at home today resting.  I know my class is in good hands with a lovely supply teacher taking care of them for me.  Before I pop out to the doctor I wanted to share with you my first paid item on TpT!

I've played 'Sweet Treats' with my Preppies for a while and thought that since I (and my class) love it so much, other teachers might like it too!  Sight word games (I'm very anti-worksheets!) are essential for reinforcing those words the kidlets have learnt, helping them to stick in their memory instead of being replaced by other important facts, like what's on their sandwich for lunch!  This game is so simple to play - each child gets a cone and can add scoops to it when they correctly read the word as it is drawn from the pile.  Easy!  And best of all, once they kidlets know how to play you can leave them to it to play independently (especially those little ones who know their words well).  My Preppies love this game, so I hope someone else can use it too.  This version is in Queensland script, but since there's no US/Australia spelling issues it could be used by anyone. :)

I so appreciated the feedback that some of my lovely followers left for me when I posted my first item on TpT... if you would like to check out my description etc. in my store and let me know if I should change anything I'd really appreciate the feedback. :)
